The PHS Guardian Angel Program

Are you over 59? Are you looking for a little companionship and unconditional love?

Why not try our Senior-to-Senior Adoption program!

If you're over 59, we have older pets (8 years and older) who are just looking for food, a warm place to nap and some love!

Adoption fees are waived and a PHS volunteer will help take (not pay) the pet to the vet.

Or, if you have a little more in your heart to give, try our Long Term Foster program. Adoption Fee is waived, PHS volunteer will help with taking the pet to the vet (if desired), meds and vet costs covered.

We always need homes for the pets we have who are ill.

All PHS pets are up to date with shots and vacinations and are spayed or neutered.

The Putnam Humane Society will ALWAYS take the pet back for whatever reason. We just want them to be loved and cared for.

Please call 845-225-7777 with any questions.
